Vice-President of the Republic of Turkey at “ASAN Service”


On September 16, 2019, Fuat Oktay, Vice-President of the Republic of Turkey, get acquainted with “ASAN Service” centre.

Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ulvi Mehdiyev informed the guest about activities and aims of the establishment of "ASAN service", as well as the application of innovations. There was emphasized that with the establishment of "ASAN service" there have been achieved serious steps in the field of provision of efficient public administration through enhancing of transparency and application of innovations. And up to now applications of more than 32 million citizens have been received.

Successful cooperation between the State Agency and the Republic of Turkey, as well as the application of “ASAN Service” model in Turkey,  were also discussed.

It was drawn to attention that within the UN Public Service Forum, held in Baku in July, Protocol of Intent was signed by the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Ministry of Transport and Infrastructure of the Republic of Turkey and Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TCCA).

Moreover, within the framework of the relevant forum, Declaration of Intent was also signed on establishing ASAN International Association for provision of public service. With the establishment of the association, of which the Republic of Turkey is also a member, it is planned to establish unique cooperation on the provision of public services, as well as institutional network to discuss contemporary challenges and essential problems for effective management in the aforementioned field.

Guests got familiar with activities of ABAD public legal entity, ASAN Radio and ASAN Training and Education Center.
