The Ministerial Roundtable was organized at the UN Public Service Forum

The UN Public Service Forum taking place in Baku has been continuing.

Within the framework of the Forum, the Ministerial Roundtable on the topic entitled “Promoting National and Local Action to enhance the effective Delivery of Services, Innovative Transformation and Accountable Institutions” was organized. During the roundtable, discussions and exchanges of views on public service delivery, measures taken by countries in relation to calls and challenges for Sustainable Development Goals and effective institutions, as well as other types of joint activities were held.

The discussions were on the following questions:

Question 1: Harnessing innovation and creativity to transform mindsets to achieve the SDGs

Question 2: Leveraging the data revolution and digital Transformation for Sustainable Development

Question 3: Reaching the poorest and most vulnerable through inclusive services, partnerships and participatory decision-making

Question 4: Promoting gender responsive public services to achieve the SDGs

Question 5: Reaching SDG 16

Question 6: The role of the United Nations
